positives

As soon as I put them on at the Evolv shop in Buena Park CA they fit like slippers. As I made way up their bouldering wall they stuck to everything and felt very comfortable. Their aggressive nature allows you to step on foot chips and make moves that otherwise may have been more difficult.

Ive had these shoes for about 2 months and have climbed in the Eastern Sierras and Joshua Tree National Park. Monzogranite and white granite alike these shoes handle everything they have been put up against.

In the climbing gym I am able to wear them comfortably for a couple hours not having to take they off between routes. This makes things a lot easier to keep things moving and get multiple routes in a short period of time. The velcro straps are well placed and make taking them off and putting them on a breeze. The tongue of the shoe has a very soft foam that feels very comfortable.

Aesthetically speaking the orientation and color scheme are bright and I like the style. To each their own. :-)

negatives

As with most climbing equipment when you start getting into the sport you have a tendency to know what good gear feels like and how it should work. The only issue with that is you have a tendency to choose gear that can cost more. That being said spend's the money. You will be happy with the choice. They are appropriately priced for what you are getting.

Getting your shoes resoled at Evolv is also how you can increase their longevity. Ive gotten a few resoles done at Evolv and have been very pleased with the results.

A simple Amazon search reveals the cost of the shoe to be about $160. You can check that out HERE.

Customer Service

As always Evolv is pretty darn good at providing amazing customer service. The Shop has all their shoes in stock so the recommendation is to go in and try on the shoes and see how they fit. They don’t push you in any direction as far as choosing a shoe. But they will absolutely take the time to guide you in the right direction depending on your stye of climbing and your foot shape.

Overall

I can’t remember how many climbing shoes I’ve had on my feet but I can say that these shoes are darn comfortable and aggressive enough to provide confidence on more difficult routes. Get ‘em. You won’t be disappointed.
