The following gear reviews are our personal experiences using the products we use outdoors. These reviews are only our opinions and in no way reflect the views, as a whole, of the climbing, medical and outdoor communities. Enjoy!

positives

At 72g they are Ultralight for sure. You can hardly notice them on your harness. They aren't the lightest on the market however at $14 it's a steal. This is a great price for a draw period. The fact that it is an ultralight draw is just icing on the cake. I've now had the chance to use these in single and multi-pitch ice routes and they work well despite wearing gloves (thick gloves). Put them up on routes in Joshua Tree and they held their own. Through all the abuse I've managed to put them through they have faired well as far as wear and tear.

The bent gate allows for easy clipping. The carabiners that come with these draws are not too big and not too small.

negatives

The rubber piece that holds the lower carabiner in place isn't as durable as heavier draws. On my second ice route in the Eastern Sierra Mountains I managed to break the rubber piece. This may have been because it was 8 degrees out and they became brittle. Other than this point I don't really have anything negative to say about them.

Customer Service

I walked into their HQ and was greeted with a smile and light hearted conversations about climbing and gear. They invited me to their back room and let me try out some of their gear. These guys were great representatives of the sport. Made me feel at home.

Overall

These draws worked very well in the alpine as well as sport climbing. As stated they are Ultralight! I really like these draws. Mad Rock did very well in the design. The price and weight are just right. You can check out Mad Rocks' site HERE or buy them online HERE.
